Tjaša Iris
|
is an European artist artist. Slovenian born, Italian
by adoption. She started organizing and holding painting workshops in 1996. She studied Fine Art in Florence, Italy, at the International
School of Fine Art Fortman Studios, later on at
Staffordshire Polytecnic, Stoke-on-Trent, England, Accademia di Belle Arti, Venice, Italy and earned her M.F.A. in Painting
from Fine Art Academy Minerva, Groningen, The Netherlands. She was sent by her government to represent Slovenia at the
prestigious residency for artists Cite’ Internationale
des Art in Paris, France in 2000 and she returned in Nov. and Dec. 2005 for a
personal show at the Gallery of the Cite'. Now she lives and works between Tjaša got a new last
name Iris in 2006. At origin her last name was Demsar.
During her stay abroad she has also acquired a fluency in English and
