Non-painters are invited to join us for
daily excursions, meals and evening art appreciation course.
Workshop fee is including:
Cocktail the first evening, 7 nights in a double room,
7 breakfasts, 4 light snacks at lunch time, 7 dinners (wine included), 6 days
of lessons, acrylic colors (for our lessons) ,
brushes, paper (for the first day), canvases 5 , use of painting boards, French
easels and chairs included), evening art appreciation course with slide
lectures, numerous excursions listed below.
Including painting and art history excursions:
- a whole day excursion across little towns of Tuscany, a visit to a
museum with Tuscan paintings in the town of Sienna: Piccolomini
Library inside the Cathedral with frescos of Pintoricchio,
visit of ancient fortified town Monteriggioni, where
we will paint in the afternoon.
- an afternoon excursion to San Gimignano,
visit of the old city center with the fortress,
entrance to the Cathedral where we will see frescos of Barna di Siena, Benozzo Gozzoli, Bartalo di Fredi,
Ghirlandaio...
- a whole day painting excursion to Volterra. Visit of the most important
- one whole day trekking painting excursion to Castel Vecchio a city abandon in
the 13st century in the middle of the woods.
- afternoon trekking excursion to Montauto, an ancient hill town on the Frachigena
road.
Application forms must be accompanied by a deposit of 700 Euros (900 Euros per
single room).
